LAIN member Newham Council awarded ‘Living Wage Places Champion’ Award for dedication to growing living wage in their area
Since becoming a London Living Wage employer in March 2021, Newham Council has been leading the way to encourage other local businesses to pay the London Living Wage and now their efforts have been rewarded by scooping a national award.
Together with the Royal Docks Action Group, which was set up in June 2021, there are now 51 additional organisations in the borough that have become a Living Wage Employer.
