Overall Goal
Improve life chances and opportunities for disadvantaged young Londoners by increasing access to quality mentoring, providing positive opportunities and supporting London’s youth sector.
Key Deliverables
Use anchors’ collective resources and work in partnership with London’s youth sector to create positive opportunities and improve the life chances of young people, targeting those facing the starkest inequalities.
Work Programme Highlights
Creating positive opportunities for young people, directly or indirectly. For example, the direct delivery of youth focussed programmes or hosting events, workshops or training for young people.
Supporting young people to establish and maintain long-term, trusted relationships. For example, supporting the expansion of the Virtual Mentoring Academy Pilot and adopting the Mentoring Quality Framework.
Communicating the importance of positive opportunities for young people. For example, celebrating the delivery of successful programmes to amplify the importance of supporting and investing in young Londoners.
Collaborating and providing feedback on relevant tools and resources. For example, sharing case studies, research findings, new data and evaluation tools.

Number of volunteer mentors identified, trained and matched.
Direct mentoring opportunities provided.
Number of positive opportunities directly delivered.
Number of positive opportunities created through funding external partners.
Research or training delivered to support young Londoners or London’s youth sector.
