Tackling Inequalities Impact
We’re committed to supporting good work by ensuring fair pay, including at least the London Living Wage, and fostering workforces that reflect London’s diverse communities at all levels. By helping more Londoners from underrepresented backgrounds access quality jobs and implementing measures to attract, train, and retain a diverse workforce, we aim to create inclusive opportunities across our organisations. We also work to improve life chances for disadvantaged young Londoners through quality mentoring programmes.
Goals:
Close gender, ethnicity and disability pay gaps.
Secure living-wage jobs for Londoners.
Increase apprenticeships and supported internships.
Attract and retain a diverse workforce by changing recruitment practices and embedding healthy workplace cultures.
Champion flexible working across all sectors.
Bring opportunities to those underrepresented in the workforce - for example prison leavers.
